This is a great introduction Retreat to the Yossum Process and the four pillars of Yoga, Silence, Meditation and Self-Understanding.
Discover Yossum is ideal if you just want a first taste or if you don't have the time for a full week and are tired of putting it off!
We’ve designed this retreat to make it easy for people to attend. First, it’s limited to only eight students, so you have enough space to really connect with the Teachers. Second, it’s a non-residential retreat, meaning you can organize your own accommodation, or easy if you live in Amsterdam or have friends there. And third, we’ve kept the price low to ensure that there simply can’t be any reason left for you not to come!
Starting early on Friday and ending on Sunday afternoon each day is filled with conceptual teachings of the Enneagram as well as experiential periods in meditation, yoga, group discussion and one-on-one partner sharing. Since its a short retreat, private sessions with Carmen are limited, but possible. Just make a request during the booing process. Even if you participate only in this retreat, you will have a much better understanding of spiritual work and self development in general which will help you in future choices. You can stay in touch with the process even after this 3-day, weekend retreat, through Yossum's online group: Yossum Reconnect. Check out Yossum Support for more information.
ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Carmen Ornelas
As Founder of Yossum, Carmen leads each retreat into a space of love and comfort while engaging participants with the concepts, knowledge and practical approach to each person’s process. She uses the Enneagram system as a mirror for your inner work as well as her skills at trauma healing and other expressions of her many guiding abilities.
She meets each retreat group and you, personally, where you are at. Her intention is to facilitate a safe space where you can touch your own inner- wisdom to connect with what your next step may be, without any judgements or pre-conceived ideas.
Sessions with Carmen get fully booked in advance, so please be sure to book time with her in advance when reserving the Retreat.

ACCOMMODATION
Landsmeer is a quaint village located just north of central Amsterdam.
North of Amsterdam by only 20 minutes by car, this venue is surrounded by vegetable and tulip fields, canals and water in a lovely, off-the-beaten-track town. We've chosen this area for our non-residential retreat because this unique space has been provided by one of Yossum's students.
Since this is a non-residential Retreat, you will need to arrange your own accommodation. We’re happy to assist you and to provide suggestions of hotels nearby.
